amaka invites you to the performance "I make space for...", a multimedia creation by six women performers that explores the issue of gender-based discrimination through personal stories, data, physical performance and poetic imagery.
How can we reimagine the spaces we share — public, professional, emotional, educational — so that everyone can belong?
Using the tools of devised theatre, playback theater and art therapy, the piece weaves together personal narratives, statistical insights, poetic language and embodied action, creating a DIY, immersive experience.
The performance presented is part of the European project "Street Harmony: Theater Dynamics to Foster Intercultural Dialogue and Address Gender-Based Discriminations in the EURO-MED Area" (SEP-211015169), implemented within the framework of Creative Europe .
The program is carried out in collaboration with CEFA ETS (Italy), CEFA TUNISIE (Tunisia) and CCAB (Tunisia).
